Caring for children has always been my passion

As a little girl, I loved helping the mothers at my church by holding babies, rocking them to sleep, and giving parents a chance to rest. Even then, I knew there was something special about nurturing and caring for little ones.

As I grew older and became a mother myself, I discovered just how much joy I found in raising children. Wanting to be a present mom while building a meaningful career, I opened my daycare. For me, this is more than a business—it’s about helping raise the future.

Everyday moments

At Yolie’s Place, learning happens naturally through everyday play. We count while we walk, jump, and play, sing our ABCs while we play or wash our hands, and learn colors, shapes, and numbers through blocks, games, and hands-on activities. Every moment is an opportunity to learn, explore, and have fun!

Learning is woven naturally into our daily activities. We sing our ABCs while washing our hands, turn everyday moments into opportunities for growth, and encourage curiosity through play.

Why “Yolie’s Place”?

I chose the name Yolie’s Place because “Yolie” has always held a special place in my heart. I was named after my mother, and I have cherished hearing stories of her as a little girl being called by her nicknames.

To me, “Yolie” feels more personal and welcoming. It brings a sense of home, warmth, and happiness—exactly the feeling I want every child and family to experience when they walk through our doors.

Often, the children spend time exploring outdoors, then come inside in small groups for focused learning activities before heading back out to enjoy active play again.

Each day is filled with engaging experiences designed to support every area of development. Depending on the children’s ages and interests, we enjoy activities such as:

Potty Training Made Easier!

Potty training is a big milestone, and we’re here to make it a positive and encouraging experience! At Yolie’s Place, I work closely with parents to follow their child’s routine at home and keep communication open. Together, we create consistency between home and daycare while celebrating every little “potty victory!”

Healthy and delicious, every meal

Nutrition is very important to me. I strive to provide meals and snacks that are both healthy and delicious.

Breakfast

Includes a wholegrain, protein and fruit

Snacks

Fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins to support growing bodies and minds.

Meals

For example, if I cook my homemade chicken quesadillas I add cucumber and tomatoes on side. Lunch always has two veggies or more to choose from.

Lunch

Includes, wholegrain, protein and at least two different vegetables.

Safety Protocols

At a child’s birthday party, one of my two-year-olds happily started singing the ABCs. His parents looked over at me with a big smile and said, “That’s all because of Yolie’s Place.” Moments like this are so special because they remind me that the little things we practice every day truly make a difference.

Moments like that are incredibly rewarding. Every accomplishment deserves to be celebrated, and every child is unique.

From the very beginning, Yolie made us feel like family, and our son absolutely loved being there. He looked forward to seeing Yolie and all of the other children every day, and even now that he’s moved on to TK, he still asks some mornings if he gets to go to Yolie’s! She naturally radiates love and joy. Everyone who works there is super kind and loving and my youngest would come home looking better than when I dropped her off. She always came back with her hair brushed and styled. When we sent our kids there, they were so helpful with potty training challenges and sent pictures daily. Which ages do you care for?

Infants 6 months old to young children up to 10 years old. Activities are tailored to each child’s age and interests.

What will my child do all day?

At Yolie's Place, each day runs from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a warm welcome, healthy meals and snacks, outdoor play, one-on-one learning time, and a calm afternoon nap, so every little one learns, plays and rests in a safe, loving space.
